The earthquake was recorded at 23.46 on UTC time (on Wednesday at 02.46 Moscow time). Epicenter of tremors was in 46 kilometers to the southwest from the city Province of Bengkulu on the island of Sumatra. The center lay at a depth of 46,7 kilometers.
