The comic opera "Don Pasquale" comes back to a historical scene of Mariinsky theater

On July 19 on a historical scene Mariinsky theater there will take place a premiere of the comic opera "Don Pasquale" of Donizetti. In 1980 statement of the comic opera was carried out by young Valery Gergiev in the commonwealth with the director Youri Aleksandrovich Aleksandrov and the artist Ivanov Igor. It was the beginning of his conductor's career. Today Valery Gergiev already as the art director of Mariinsky theater returns the opera on a scene.
