The head of Estonian Eesti Energia urged to enter the emergency mode because of possible deficiency of gas

The chairman of the board of Eesti Energia power concern Hando Suttera declared need of introduction of the emergency mode to Estonia because of possible deficiency of gas forthcoming winter. About it reports ERR portal. "If the terminal for the liquefied natural gas (LNG) does not appear in the country this fall, in the winter Estonia can already face problems in heating" — Suttera noted. According to him, the country authorities already now need to take all measures for reduction of consumption of gas, or to deal with an issue on its replacement with other power source.
