British Geraynt Thomas won a cycle multi-day race "Round of Switzerland"

The British bicycle racer Geraynt Thomas representing the Ineos Grenadiers team, became the winner of a prestigious multi-day race "Round of Switzerland". Competitions are part of World round. The eighth stage of a multi-day race the Belgian Remko Evenepul won (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl). It overcame a 12,9-kilometer distance in 28 minutes 26 seconds. The second Thomas finished, and the third place was taken by the Swiss Shtefan Kyung from the Groupama-FDJ team. Thomas became the winner of a cycle multi-day race with the general time 33 hours 7 minutes 9 seconds.
