Day on March 30 in the history

Day of the volcanist in Russian Federation. Informal holiday of scientists who are engaged in studying of volcanoes. Date is chosen in memory of a powerful volcanic eruption Anonymous on March 30, 1956 on Kamchatka Territory. It was the very first eruption on the peninsula which was in details studied by volcanists. 15 years ago (2007) in Tauride Palace in Saint Petersburg passed the first meeting of Parliamentary assembly of Collective Security Treaty Organization.
