A crime indicator in Saint Petersburg 15% lower than on the average over the country. How law enforcement agencies worked over its further decrease in 2021, Roman Plugin told in Legislative assembly chapter Head department of ministry of internal affairs of the Russian Federation on Saint Petersburg and Leningrad region. For last year the quantity of crimes decreased in the city, declared Roman Plugin. According to him, preventive measures allowed to reduce number of the registered heavy and especially serious crimes by 5,5%. So, only murders in the city became 10% less.
