Saint Petersburg in offices of heads of municipalities want to make placement of a flag and the coat of arms obligatory. The relevant bill in the first reading was adopted by deputies of Legislative Assembly. Meetings of municipals will take place also under city symbols. The initiative was taken by the head of Committee of the legislation Belikov Vsevolod.
