Archeologists specified dating of fossils of Omo-I which a number of scientists are considered as the most ancient known remains of the homo sapiens. It appeared that the minimum age of these finds about 232±22 thousand years, that is is significantly more senior, than was considered earlier. Besides, scientists specified dating of fossils from Herto's location — they belong approximately to 160–155 thousand years ago. Results of research are published in Nauchny zhurnal Nature.
