EDF the French company EDF postponed the beginning of operation of the third power unit of the nuclear power plant "Flamanvil" with the EPR-1600 reactor EPR-1600 because of "the complications caused by a pandemic of Koronavirus". Date of loading of fuel in the reactor was postponed since the end of 2022 for the second quarter 2023, and the budget cost of completion of works is increased by 300 million euros (342 million US dollars) to 12,7 billion euro, reported EDF in the updated report on a course of works.
