Scientists found out that the chain reactions started by ionizing radiation, can be much more harmful, than was considered. Corresponding statyaopublikovana in Nauchny zhurnal Nature Chemistry. Still scientists assumed that ionizing radiation damages biomolecules generally indirectly.
