The Turkish lira at auctions today, on December 16, again updated a historical minimum. The currency depreciated against dollar to 15,21 for unit of the American currency (-2,7%). Since the beginning of year the lira exchange rate decreased almost twice concerning dollar, within November — 26%. By the main reason for falling of lira the position of the president is considered Recep Erdogan, insisting on decrease in a key rate, despite inflation dispersal (in November it exceeded 20%).
