France returns to Africa royal treasures

France will return artifacts of the ancient African kingdom home. Museum on Branli Embankment will transfer to Benin 26 works of art which were taken out to Europe in 1892. They are among 5000 products which Porto-Novo demands to return. This transfer marks a milestone in long-term fight of the African countries for return of the artifacts plundered by the western researchers and colonialists.
