The 31-year-old Kenyan runner Rotich Elisha became the winner of the 44th Parisian international marathon, having overcome a distance in 2 hours 4 minutes 21 seconds and by that having established a new record of competitions. The second to the finish Ethiopian Haylemaryam Kyros, the third — the athlete from Kenya Hillary Kipsambu came. Let's note that the previous record belonged to the triple Olympic champion in run on 5 000 and 10 000 meters — Kenenisa Bekele from Ethiopia. He established it in 2014.
