On the Brahmaputra River in the Indian State of Assam two ferries faced. As writes EastMojo, incident happened between Madzhuli's river island and the city Jorhat. According to eyewitnesses, on the state ferry there were 120 people. It faced the private ferry on which there was almost same number of passengers. The private ferry started sinking quickly and turned over, having covered many people. The water level in the river at the time of collision was considered as the dangerous. On a place pass rescue operations: from water pulled out already more than 100 people, but rescuers are afraid that as much again could drown...
