Commissioning of the third block "Olkiluoto's Nuclear Power Plant" is postponed for three months because of need of additional works on turbines

TVO Start of operation of the third power unit of the nuclear power plant "Olkiluoto" with the EPR-1600 reactor EPR-1600 is expected now in June, 2022 in connection with extension of works on repair and to checks of the turbine equipment, the Finnish company reported Industrial Power COR "Teollisuuden Voima Oyj". Extension of these works led already earlier to a delay of start-up of the new block under construction since 2005 for one month.
