The organizing committee of a cycle multi-day race of "Tour de France" withdrew the judicial claim against the fan who provoked a mass blockage at the first stage. On June 26 participants of a multi-day race overcame a route Brest – Landerno. The German bicycle racer Martin Toni was hooked for a cardboard banner which was held by the fan, wishing to get to lenses of television cameras. Falling Martin Toni was followed by a mass blockage pelotona in which 21 persons suffered. Three racers were compelled to descend from race. The fan was arrested by the French police.
