Today new administrative-territorial division Latvia which finishes the second reform local governments after restoration of independence of the state comes into force.  Source: Reform provides LETA that powers of former 119 self-managements expire, and they are transferred to new self-managements, many of which were formed by a way of merges the former municipalities.
