The Russian labor unions managed to convince deputies of State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Labor not to copy one of the most important sections of the Labour Code (LC), regulating safe working conditions. Yesterday the profile committee State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation approved amendments to the second reading the new version of the section 10 of shopping Mall (("Okhrana truda»)) which will allow, as well as now, not to consider the means of individual protection provided to the worker at an assessment of harm and danger of a workplace. Otherwise, according to labor unions, workers could lose payments and privileges for harm.
