"We went in full uncertainty": as in 1983 in Mozambique captured more than 20 Soviet geologists

In 1983 in Mozambique local fighters seized group of the Soviet geologists who worked at mine. The captured experts stayed in captivity of 158 days and passed about 500 km. Captives knew nothing all this time about that, why them conduct on the country West. The Soviet government officially did not report to the public the matter. Two persons were lost at capture of hostages, two more — in captivity from exhaustion. The destiny of two geologists still remains to the unknown.
