In Kazakhstan forbade to sell farmlands to foreigners

The law on a ban of sales and delivery in rent farmlands to foreigners and foreign legal entities was signed by President of Republic of Kazakhstan Kasym-Zhomart Tokaev on May 13, the press service of the head of state reported. The ban also extends on legal entities Kazakhstan with foreign participation, on the international organizations and on scientific centers with the international participation. Under the new law, the lands provided in rent till July 1, 2016, will remain in using before the termination of period of validity of contracts. Such contracts are not subject to extension.
