Suggested to reduce number of public telephone sets by 75% Ministry of Communications of Japan, on April 26 reports Nippon Hoso Kyokai. The ministry suggested the group of experts to revise the rule of placement of such devices. It is reported that the offer is caused by growth of popularity of mobile phones because of what stationary phones were less demanded. By existing rules on each 0,25 square kilometers in the densely populated cities and 1 sq.km in less occupied territories there has to be one phone.
