The Ministry of Emergency Situations declared possible introduction of new requirements to cigarettes in Eurasian Economic Union

According to department, the draft document is directed by Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation on coordination in the interested federal bodies to executive power. In the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations noted that the ministry supports all legislative initiatives which are directed "on decrease in risks of life and to population health, including in questions of fire safety". In department added that smoking of cigarettes is the reason of the majority of fires, including with death of people, with causing serious material damage.
