In Iran passed protest actions of pensioners

Elderly people took to the streets with the requirement of increase in social payments. Actions took place in provinces Tehran, Alborz, Province of Markazi and Province of Lorestan. As reports information agency "ITAR-TASS", participants of meetings support increase of pensions at least to a poverty threshold which, in their opinion, is equal today about 100 million Iranian rials (about 400 US dollars). According to statements taken to the streets, their pensions make for today about 40 million Iranian rials (160 US dollars).
