Transport prosecutor's office of the Northwestern Federal District carried out an inspection upon pollution by oil products the Volkhov River. Incident happened in Krechevitsa's residential district Veliky Novgorod. According to preliminary information, responsible — the vessel RT-318 belonging JSC "Novgorodsky port". In port a vessel cut on scrap metal. It is noted that, probably, oil products appeared in water because of hold washing, visually it seems that it could be the fulfilled lubricating oil.
