In army Greece increased service life till 12 months

Recruits Greece will serve 12 months regardless of a type of military forces, since May 2021, decided Government of Greece, reports on March 5 the Greek Ethnos Internet edition. Service life in land forces is increased till 12 months and became equal to service life in sea and air armies. The service of 9 months will remain only for the divisions serving in border areas: on islands, in Evrosa — and also in special troops in Cyprus.
