"There is nothing to celebrate". Into Bolivia entered quarantine instead of a carnival
The authorities of the Bolivian Santa Cruz de la Sierra entered the most strict quarantine for time of a traditional carnival, the El Deber newspaper reports on February 12. The decision about introduction of a mode of rigid quarantine instead of a carnival was made the acting as the mayor Sosa Angelica after a long meeting with representatives of bodies of health care. Restrictions come into force from 20:00 on February 13 and will finish the action on February 17 in 4 mornings. 800 police officers are supposed to keep order in the city with help.
