Twenty six years ago, on November 26, 1994 the Supreme Council Abkhazia adopted the constitution of the sovereign, democratic, constitutional state of Abkhazia. In the same day deputies of People's Assembly – Parlament RA the highest legislature the countries elected the first president Abkhazia – Wladyslaw Ardzinba (1945-2010), the Supreme Council which was before the chairman.
