Audi Rosemeyer – a retro and futuristic concept with the engine, as at Bugatti Veyron

On June 1, 2000 in the Autostadt exhibition complex territory in Wolfsburg the Audi Rosemeyer concept car combining modern technologies and respect for the racing history Auto Union of the 1930th years was presented. Car received the name in honor of Berndt Rosmeier, the well-known German pilot smashing rivals on the European routes within the championship which can be considered as the predecessor of modern Formula One.
