Prompt reduction of population of elephants is noted in Vietnam, reported information agency "ITAR-TASS" on July 9 the Vietnamese Management forest resources. At the Vietnamese Institute ecology and bioresources counted that else about 30 years ago in the territory of the country over 2 thousand wild elephants lived, but now their number was sharply reduced to 150 individuals.
