The village Kyn became the first settlement in Perm Territory, received the status of the historical settlement. It it was declared at meeting of Regionalnoye government. The received status will allow to protect all historical building, that is at the authorities of need will not declare certain buildings objects of a cultural heritage. The village Kyn was founded in 1759 by the baron Stroganov Nicholas.
