The earthquake measuring 5,5 occurred in northern part of Chile, informs local TV channel Tele 13 on Sunday, referring to the national seismological center of the country. According to its information, epicenter was in 18 km to the north of San Pedro's city - Atakama (Antofagasta) which population makes about 4 thousand inhabitants. Depth of the center made 138 km.
