The Norilsk project "Letters in the Past" devoted to memories of the past of the polar city, became the final stage in five years' research of artists about GULAG. Its geography included territories of the Solovetsky Islands and Belomorkanal, transit camps Vladivostok and Nakhodka. The duet of SASHAPASHA investigated peatery of Gorky GULAG to Nizhny Novgorod Region, visited with expedition Arkhangelsk, Pinega and Severodvinsk.
