Independent noncommercial organization "Levada-Centre": 63% of Russians declared existence in the country of political prisoners

According to poll Independent noncommercial organization "Levada-Centre", 63% of Russians consider that in the country there are the people condemned for the political views or aspiration to participate in political life. This indicator became maximum for all the time of researches since 2004. 22% of respondents declared that in Russian Federation political prisoners are not present. As sociologists found out, 68% of respondents consider themselves as free people. 31% of respondents hold the opposite opinion.
