Alexander Ivanovich Medvedev explained why "Zenith" opposed the RPL expansion

Director general "Zenith" Alexander Ivanovich Medvedev told why the blue-white-blue opposed increase in number of teams of the Russian Premier league to 18, reports Sport-Ekspress. According to him, the idea good, however its realization will lead to growth of expenses. Alexander Ivanovich Medvedev also added that the RPL expansion is possible upon transition to system play-off or odnokugovy final tournament of nine best teams.
