LyondellBasell and China Petroleum & Chemical COR will construct new styrene plant and oxides propylene in China

The American company LyondellBasell Industries N. V (LBI), the world's largest producer of polyolefins, signed on December 23 the agreement from the Chinese China Petroleum & Chemical COR, one of the largest world energy and chemical companies, on construction new joint venture on production oxides propylene and styrene-monomer in Chzhenkhaye (Zhenhai, Ningbo, China), were reported by LBI press service. Financial details of the transaction are not disclosed.
