In Yelets passes the Interregional tourist event festival "Antonovsky Apples". The ancient city was immortalized in the creativity by the Russian writer, the Nobel winner Bunin Yvan Alekseevich. Here passed his youth, he loved the city and very much to it was attached, and many stories Bunin Yvan Alekseevich became the present guides to Yelets streets.
