On September 11 – 300 years from the date of creation of migratory service

Today to Russian Federation 300 years from the date of educations migratory service are celebrated. Certification bases to Russian Federation were put still by Peter I who assigned duties on control and to the accounting of coming foreign citizens to police. For the first time to Russian Federation the word "passport" as the document proving the identity of foreigners, is mentioned in the Decree of August 31, 1719 (on September 11 on new style)...
