Following the results of negotiations Russian Federation and Vietnam agreed to increase cooperation in the oil and gas sphere, to expand practice of use of national currencies in joint transactions, to deal with issues of expansion of counter commodity deliveries, first of all it is a question of increase in a share of the knowledge-intensive and technological production.

during negotiations JOINT-STOCK COMPANY "ZARUBEZHNEFT" and Vietnamese "Petrovyetnam" Vietnam "agreed about occurrence of the Russian companies in the project on development of one of blocks of a shelf. Our companies are engaged also in oil refining, plan delivery to Vietnam the liquefied natural gas, production and realization of gas motor fuel", - Vladimir Putin told.
"Good opportunities are available and in power industry", - President of the Russian Federation also noted following the results of negotiations.
"The Russian enterprises are interested inin connection to modernization of the electrical power objects built still in Vietnam with assistance of the USSR, and also in a construction of new power plants", - the Russian leader declared.
One more important direction - cooperation in the field of use of atomic energy in the peace purposes. During negotiations the memorandum of understanding between State corporation "Rosatom" and Ministry formations of Socialist Republic Vietnam about cooperation in training in the field of use of atomic energy in the peace purposes was signed.
