The office of the Red Cross located on a beach, on Tuesday hoisted the yellow colors because of the slope noticed near the coast.
This species of sea animals does not represent serious risk for people as slopes are nonaggressive. However the prick of their sting can be rather painful, it is similar to how the jellyfish stings.
This summer of slopes (or to a mant) observed several times on the coast Costa Brava and on other Catalan coast. In certain cases rescuers even forbade bathing, because of the raised precautionary measures. On the coast Costa Brava slopes were noticed in waters near the cities Roses , the Cooler , by Castelyo de Empouriyes , Estartit and Blanes .
