B of 17.00 hours in the building of the Tverskaya regional House of national creativity (Sovetskaya St., 42) the concert of the best creative collectives Krasny Kholm district will take place.
Krasny Kholm originally arose as the trade village Rescued on Holm and was for the first time mentioned in 1518. Since 1776 under the decree of the empress Catherine II the new name was assigned to the village — Krasny Kholm. On a local legend the empress was so fascinated by beauty of this town that ordered to call the village Red, means beautiful Holm.
Locals long since went in for agriculture, crafts and small trade. In the city and among neighboring peasants, shoe trade and production skin were especially developed.
In hands of talented masters of craft continue to live and to this day. Along with them also modern forms of arts and crafts actively develop.
the Exposition includes about 150 works, more than 20 modern writers: painting and the graphics of young artists traditional and author's clay, textile and wooden toys, carving and list on a tree, scrappy sewing, art forging of Sorokovka plant, etc. By convention, at exhibition the small section devoted to ethnography will be submitted. Addition of an exposition were exhibits which were provided by Tver State United Museum is samples of an embroidery, weaving and korneplastiki Krasny Kholm district.

Founders and organizers of the project: Government of Tver region, Committee on Culture of the Tver region, the Tverskaya regional House of national creativity, Administration of the Krasny Kholm district of the Tver region, Department of culture and for youth Krasny Kholm district. Since 2015 in the project the new page – day of national creativity of the represented area opened.
