Knowledge Day is a holiday which we mean to all. Not only because we all life remember the teachers, solemn rulers, calls and breaks. But also because in the conditions of quickly changing modern world, promptly developing technologies, we need to improve the knowledge and skills constantly. As the American philosopher Alvin Toffler told: "Not those who is not able to read and write, and those who is not able to study and be retrained" will be illiterate people of the XXI century.
the Aspiration to knowledge acquisition was at people always, but not at all times it was possible to realize this desire in practice. Exactly 150 years ago, in 1868, in Krasnoyarsk the first man's gymnasium opened, and in a year there was a female. In work of gymnasiums there were many difficulties: there was no educational literature, pedagogical shots, offices were not equipped properly.
A today Krasnoyarsk school students and students have all conditions to get a high-quality education, constantly to fill up baggage of knowledge, fully to develop. And every year these conditions become better. So, in opened in Krasnoyarsk this year to school No. 154 language laboratories are equipped, the unique information and library center is created, the shooting gallery, choreographic and gyms, a concert venue is organized. We are sure that in such conditions Krasnoyarsk school students will make still great progress in study, sports, creativity.
