C 9 till August 12 the Russian sailing vessel participated in the sea Hanse Sail 2018 festival – "Hanseatic sails".

the Hanseatic regatta – one of the most large-scale summer sea holidays to Germany and Northern Europe. The place of its carrying out is chosen not incidentally, after all Rostock – one of the largest German ports and is the shipbuilding center.

this year in a sea holiday took part 170 big and small sailing vessels and yachts. Guests of a regatta could not only admire them from the embankment, but also go to short-term cruise across the Baltic Sea. All day long sailing vessels a never-ending train put out to sea under sails, dexterously maneuvring between two beacons of east and western piers. "Krusenstern" did not stand aside from this action: in total 4 days of a festival visitors of Hanse Sail had opportunity to make a training exit in the sea onboard the Russian sailing vessel at some o'clock, than and 830 people used.

it is unconditional that the Russian four-mast sailing giants "Krusenstern" and "Sedov", and also one of the fastest "tolshipov" – Petersburg "World", became the main decoration of a holiday and as usual used the greatest interest of visitors.

6 Active part in the program of a festival was taken also by cadets FEDERAL STATE-FUNDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION "BGARF", doing practical training onboard a sailing vessel "Krusenstern". Children became the audience of musical concerts, visited excursions in ancient Rostock and defended honor of the ship on football tournament. On its results the national team of a sailing vessel of "Krusenstern" took an honourable second place. And the goalkeeper of team Fedyushin Yvan (the 3rd assistant to the captain the Krusenstern barque) is recognized as the best goalkeeper of tournament.

For time spent in the German port, onboard a sailing vessel there were some more considerable events. On August 10 with goodwill visit a vessel visited the burgomaster of Rostock Roland Metling (Roland Methling) and professor, the doctor of medical sciences, the rector of university Rostock Sharek Wolfgang (Wolfgang Schareck). One day later the meeting of the captain "Kruzenshterna" Yeremchenko Mikhail and directors of the sea Hanse Sail festival in Rostock and Warnemuende Holger Belgardt (Holger Bellgardt) took place.

B the joyful atmosphere reigning all this days departure of 35 Polish probationers brought a sad note only. Pupils of sea academy Szczecin finished the monthly practice and said goodbye to "Krusenstern", full of new impressions and experience.

– vacant places occupied 26 cadets of the Kaliningrad sea fishing college and 1 cadet FEDERAL STATE-FUNDED EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION OF HIGHER PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION "BGARF", arrived aboard a sailing vessel on August 11.

in the Evening on August 12, 2018 a sailing vessel "Krusenstern" cast off from Varnemyunde's port and headed for Reykjavik (Iceland). The bark should overcome more than 1400 nautical miles.
