Ministry Republic communications Belarus and Ministry of Communication and Mass Communication of the Russian Federation agreed to cancel roaming between the countries. At joint meeting of board in Smolensk departments discussed "road map" on the matter, reported the Belarusian department.
One of ways of the solution of a question with cancellation of roaming harmonization of tariffs is called. As a result decrease in tariffs for services communications, and also increase in business and tourist activity is expected.
In September, 2017 chapter Federal Antimonopoly Service Igor Artemyev declared that for member countries Eurasian Economic Community (Eurasian Economic Community) can cancel the international roaming within 2-3 years.
"We have to achieve that there was no roaming in the Customs union, and finally to fight for that there was no international roaming in general", - Igor Artemyev claimed. The Customs union enter Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan.
In July State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation supported the bill of cancellation of roaming in Russian Federation that subscribers paid services communications for a single tariff of the mobile network operator.
