Balloons, the fire extinguishers made hands of children, letters of thanks, verses, songs of creative collectives, elegant suits – all this was prepared for villagers and guests of the settlement in honor of opening of a new basic post of a fire brigade No. 92 STATE PUBLIC INSTITUTION FOREIGN ECONOMIC ASSOCIATION 4 PS GROUP in Berezhnovk's village. Fire depot long ago here waited and villagers went into the real holiday concerning a solemn event.

Settlement administration together with berezhnovets by own efforts in three months repaired the building, equipped with all necessary, and the regional authorities helped to buy the equipment and three pieces of equipment. One of cars – the ARS-14PM fire truck, is specially developed for transportation of division of fire service on duty and the necessary fire and technical equipment. One of its main functions – suppression of forest fires and ignitions in rural areas. In 2016 the Ministry of defense transferred to the possession of the region of 40 fire trucks of such modification.

Within implementation of the regional target program "Fire Safety" in the territory only Nikolaevsky rayon, since 2012, are created five divisions of a regional fire service: fire brigade in the settlement Stepnovsky, strong points in Politotdelskoye's village, in the farm the New life, in the village Spacious, and today – and in Berezhnovk's village. Thus, all territory of this area is captured and is under reliable protection of divisions of a fire service.
Fire-fighting crews will be able quickly to leave new depot to six next settlements where lives more than two thousand people. Also in the territory nine social objects are located. Emergence of new division of a fire service of the region will allow to react more effectively quicker to emergencies, to save lives of people and their property from fire.
- In operating divisions staff number increases, the special equipment vehicle fleet extends, the equipment is updated, - the chairman tells Committee on Life Safety of Population of the Volgograd region Naurzaliev Youri.
according to the head of committee, work on updating of fire equipment has system character: within the five-year program for ensuring safety activity in the territory Volgograd Region on means regional budgets will be bought 64 firefighters and four operational cars. Eight of them already arrived in divisions of regions of area. At the beginning of July certificates on their receiving by the firefighter were handed over personally by the governor of the region Andrey Bocharov. By 2021 the increase in number of fire stations rural municipalities to 90 is planned.
