Digital radio television is a modern technology telecastings. Thanks to it free transfer of a large number television and radio channels of excellent quality practically on all in the territory Russian Federation, including to Amur Region became possible.

At present, in all territory Amur Region constructed a network of FREE radio digital television. Works were carried out within implementation of the Federal target program "Development TV and radio broadcasting to Russian Federation for 2009-2018". The program is developed to eliminate an inequality between inhabitants of different regions of the country, to create a common information space in all its territory and, thereby, to increase quality of life of Russians.

Technical capability of radio viewing of TV channels in digital quality for inhabitants Russian Federation are provided by Federal state unitary enterprise "Rossiyskaya televizionnaya i radioveshchatelnaya set" which was formed by the decree President of the Russian Federation No. 1031. Today Federal state unitary enterprise "Rossiyskaya televizionnaya i radioveshchatelnaya set" are the main operator digital radio and analog radio TV and broadcastings in the country. Task of the Amur branch of Federal state unitary enterprise "Rossiyskaya televizionnaya i radioveshchatelnaya set" — to provide inhabitants of the region with uninterrupted, multichannel and available TV and radio broadcasting, development a free digital on-air broadcasting in Amur Region. This work is conducted on an extent of several years. According to the Federal target program already now 98,31% of inhabitants of the Amur region (784tysyachi inhabitants of area) can watch 10 television programs in a digital format, and also listen to 3 radio channels. The list of channels is approved by President of the Russian Federation: TV channel "Pervy kanal", TV channel "Rossiya", sport TV channel "Match TV", TV channel "NTV", "Saint Petersburg – "Pyaty kanal"", "Russia-to", "Russia-24", "Roundabout", "Public television Russian Federation", TV channel "TVTS", radio station "Vesti FM", state radio broadcasting company "Mayak" and "Radio Rossii". All of them broadcast at one frequency, and are a part of the first multiplex (RTRS-1 package).

Along with development networks of a digital broadcasting of the RTRS-1 package, in the area territory, in November, 2016, finished construction of a network of objects of a digital broadcasting of the second multiplex (RTRS-2 package). The television channels which have acquired the right of a broadcasting as a part of the second multiplex by results competitions to the Federal contest committee on TV and radio broadcasting are a part of a package. Now the RTRS-2 package includes the following TV channels: "REN TV", "Saviour", "First entertaining TV channel "STS"", "House", "TV-3", "FRIDAY", LLC "RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY COMPLEX "ZVEZDA", "WORLD", "TNT" website "TV channel Muz-TV". Now the network of a broadcasting of the second multiplex partially works, and partially is in a waiting mode. of 29.08.2015 No. 911 are made by the resolution Government of the Russian Federation TV and radio broadcasting to Russian Federation for 2009-2018", realization prolonging term to start of the second multiplex. In the conditions of parallel analog and digital translation financial load of speakers of the second multiplex significantly increases. To cut down expenses of TV channels prime start of translation of channels of the second multiplex only in the cities with the population over 50 thousand people was provided. Now translations of channels of the second multiplex it is conducted in the cities gorod Blagoveshchensk, Belogorsk and Free.
