For July 20 our armies on all fronts linedand destroyed 95 German tanks. In air fights and fire of an antiaircraft artillery 78 planes of the opponent are brought down.

On the Karelian front to the West from Suoyarvi our armies with fights moved ahead. Parts N-skogo of connection, having undertaken roundabout maneuver, pressed the opponent to the lake Suo-Yarvi and exterminated to 500 Finns. 38 machine guns, 86 machine guns and over 300 rifles are taken. On other site the Soviet fighters bypassed an intermediate defensive boundary of the opponent and destroyed two companies of the Finnish soldiers and officers.

of Army of the 3rd Baltic front took the offensive on Ostrovsky the direction at night and broke through a northern site of a defensive strip of the Germans called by them by the Panther line. Developing success, our armies storm seized Ostrov — strongly strengthened knot of defense of Germans. Fighters N-skogo connections came to Ostrov Highway — Dvinsk, and then courageous attack overturned the opponent and occupied Bryanchaninovo's railway station. During fights for station 400 Hitlerites are destroyed and taken to 200 captured. Big trophies are taken. Our parts were transported through the river Lzha and crushed a regiment of infantry of the opponent.

through the river the Western Bug. Overcoming the persistent resistance of the opponent on the west bank of the river, the Soviet parts with fights moved ahead and occupied more than 50 settlements. Fighters N-skoy exterminated parts to a battalion of Germans and captured 2 tanks, 31 tools and 10 warehouses with ammunition. Other our part surrounded and destroyed garrison of the strengthened region of the opponent. 160 Germans laid down arms and were given in captivity. 5 warehouses with ammunition and other trophies are taken 2 self-propelled and 18 field tools, 21 mortars.

On the Lvov direction our armies continued successful approach. The opponent strengthened the group defending approaches to Lviv, one mountain and two infantry divisions, and also tank parts. However Germans do not maintain shattering gifts of the Soviet armies and lose one position for another. Near to the north Lviv the 357th German infantry division and the 509th separate German tank battalion are crushed. In a day the opponent lost over 60 tanks.
