on July 11, Minsk / BELTA/Correspondent. Tsereteli Georgy is elected the chairman of OSCE PA in the press service of the House of Representatives.

B Berlin total plenary session of the 27th annual session of OSCE PA took place on July 11. Parliamentarians continued the general open debate, heard speech of the Secretary general of OSCE Thomas Greminger, reports of the treasurer of Doris Barnet and the secretary general of OSCE PA Montella Roberto ". During the taken place elections on leading posts of assembly the chairman of OSCE PA for 2019 became Tsereteli Georgy (Georgia). Also four vice-chairmen of OSCE PA were elected. Them became Alizar Pascal (France), Peter Bouness (United Kingdom), Khenriksen Kari (Norway), and Vigenin Christian (Bulgaria)", - told in the press service. Besides, elections of chairmen of general committees of OSCE PA, their deputies and speakers took place today.

Parliamentary delegation Belarus at the 27th annual session of OSCE PA were headed by the vice speaker of the House of Representatives Pirshtuk Boleslav. Session was devoted to effective legislative measures which the participating states need to accept for strengthening of international cooperation and implementation of obligations concerning peacekeeping and safety in the region of OSCE.

Tsereteli Georgy fulfilled duties of the chairman of OSCE PA since November, 2017. It replaced on this post Christin Muttonen (Austria) as on elections in October it did not pass in the parliament of the country.
