The Minister of Foreign Affairs Mnatsakanyan Zograb met the president of Fund Adenauer Konrad Norbert Lammert

29-ogo June, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Armenia Mnatsakanyan Zograb, being with official visit in Berlin, visited headquarters of Fund Adenauer Konrad where met the president of Fund, the doctor Norbert Lammert.

Welcoming the Minister of Foreign Affairs Armenia, the president of Fund Adenauer Konrad emphasized importance of visit of the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of the friendly country to Berlin and its meeting with representatives of Fund headed by it that, according to the doctor Norbert Lammert, give the chance to learn about occurred in Armenia the latest events first-hand.

during a meeting discussed the questions connected with the Armenian-German friendly communications, the exchange of opinions on further development the bilateral relations took place.

the Minister Mnatsakanyan Zograb presented to the interlocutor process of velvet revolution to Armenia, its background. The Foreign Minister emphasized that all changes happened within the Constitution and laws. The head of foreign policy department Armenia confirmed commitment of the new government to carrying out consecutive reforms in the field of strengthening of democracy, protection of human rights, rule of law and fight against corruption.

In this regard the president of Fund Adenauer Konrad Norbert Lammert emphasized that followed events to Armenia stability favourably distinguishes it. The president of Fund expressed confidence that process of reforms, begun in Armenia, will have consecutive character, expressing readiness by means of Fund to give support to initiatives in this direction.

at the request of the president of Fund Adenauer Konrad, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Armenia presented foreign policy priorities Armenia, the efforts undertaken within co-chairmanship of the Minsk group of OSCE on settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, a position Armenia on regional issues and approaches to their decision.
