As "The Tula press" knew, on June 9 the Governor Alexey Dyumin held the working meeting devoted to development of hockey in the region.
Part in it was taken by legends of hockey Kamensky Valery and Tuzik Igor, and also the chairman boards of directors JSC Poliplast Group Shamsutdinov Ilsur.
Alexey Dyumin thanked Shamsutdinov Ilsur and the chairman of the board of Federation of hockey Tula Region Vladimir Mikhaylovich Gulyaev for sports support.
Alexey Dyumin noted growing popularity of hockey and reminded of a victory of Novomoskovsk LLC "VIKTORIYA" at the All-Russian competitions "Gold Washer".
Nevertheless, the head of the Tula region noticed that development this sport in the region faces a number of problems.
"There is no uniform control center which would combine efforts of all teams and systemically developed hockey. In the region there has to be a strong independent federation which will operate on the principles of openness and transparency" — Alexey Dyumin told.
Alexey Dyumin noted that it is necessary to pay attention to creation of professional clubs to Tula Region by an example of Youth hockey league. Thus they it is necessary to combine efforts of two schools existing in the region.
