The musical performance "Şövq v  Həsrət" was presented to Baku

Goethe-Zentrum Baku declared the summer program with start of a festival of experimental techno music "Unsound Dislocation: Baku", the Dialogue project organized by Asli Samadova, exhibition "Art and Soccer", Goethe-Zentrum Baku Khug Alfons and a series of musical actions.

In last days off opening of the Dialogue project which unites works in the buildings which have been originally built for the religious purposes took place: Installation "to Poppies. The poetry of Ruins" the Egyptian artist Yusef Limud in Neo-Gotichesky Kapelkhaus is combined with installation of the German artist Mischa Kuball "Five sun / ambassador Galilee" in a shakhsky mosque of the 15th eyelid in the Shirvanshahs' Palace.

to Opening of exhibitions "to Poppies. Poetry of Ruins" musical performance" Şövq accompanied v ə to Həsrət" (A rush and melancholy) in which there is a meeting traditional mugama and the modern jazz. This project was specially developed for the program of Year of the Azerbaijani Culture to Germany, with a great success is executed in Academy of Arts in Munich on June 25, 2008 and since then anywhere any more it was not represented.

Melancholy, languor (in the European languages most capaciously designated by the German word Sehnsucht) - eternal motive of traditional mystical poetry of the East, sending to sufiysky concept of unearthly love which, by definition, does not mean possibility of reunion with transcendental, with object of love. This intense feeling of constant aspiration and attraction with a huge force is transferred in rich variety of emotional half tones by music mugama. Nevertheless, for the last century execution mugama lost the meditative spiritual basis - the beauty of a twiddle and virtuosity began to dominate, and even graceful vocal (tesnif) and tool (reng) transitions which served in the past as zones of emotional switching from an intensive drama relief of an ascension of soul, are often taken out today during execution on the foreground.

This dilemma - an attractive surface / the internal depth, seduction / education, terrestrial/sublime - is presented in the production project, as dynamic process of gradual awakening of souls and attempt of release from wordly vanity.

Two mugamny singers, the young man and the girl - the main heroes of a musical narration. The jazz pianist plays always strictly in pauses between mugamny plays, without trying to come at all to eclectic mix with mugamy.
